A personalized hip flask is one of those classic gifts that never goes out of style.
Care instructions
To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base color may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light colored fabrics or upholstery as the color may transfer. While a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean, surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
Your personalised hip flask is handmade by Marlborough of England and Bags of Love. Once your polished steel hip flask is shaped, our expert leather workers will print your designs onto a sheet of smooth or textured real Nappa leather. This is then cut to size and hand stitched together around the flask to create a beautifully high quality sleeve. Once your hip flask is ready, it is carefully packed in a sleek black gift box.
Care: We recommend rinsing your custom hip flask, and wiping down the sleeve with a damp cloth.
When you create your own personalised hip leather, it is the leather wrap that you can customise. Once you've decided on who you'd love to gift a leather hip flask to, you can use our design interface to upload your photos, text or patterns. The design view will show where your design will end and highlight the safe and bleed areas of the sleeve. Be sure to keep all the important details central, that way they will appear on the front of the hip flask. Please note that as the sleeve is made with a single strip of leather, the ends will meet at the back. This means it's unlikely your designs will match at the seams, unless you create it this way. Use the 'product view' to see how your designs look at the seam on the back of the hip flask.
You will also have the option to choose the size of your hip flask - 4oz or 6oz - as well as the texture of the leather: Smooth or textured leather. You can use the design interface to see how your designs will look on each texture, and choose your favourite.
Lastly, you will be able to choose from a choice of five stitch colours - this will be used to stitch around the leather where the two ends meet. You can choose from brown, charcoal, cream, red or blue.
